Barcode Scanner Does Not Emit Light When Button is Pressed

• Scenario 1: When the button is pressed, the scanner beeps five times, and the indicator light flashes five times.

  • Cause: The battery is dead.
  • Solution: Recharge the battery.

• Scenario 2: When the button is pressed, there is no response from the scanner.

  • Troubleshooting: Connect the scanner to a charging cable and check if the indicator light turns red.
    1. Red light is on: Charge for 30 minutes, then test again.
    2. No red light: Replace the mainboard.

Note: If the scanner’s red light is on while charging, but it still won’t power on after 30 minutes of charging, check the following:

1. Ensure that the charging cable is the standard one provided.
2. Confirm that the power source is a 5V, 500mA USB port.
