Unable to Find the Barcode Scanner's Bluetooth

Issue: The Bluetooth scanner is not discoverable by computers, phones, or other devices.

Analysis: Check the status of the scanner's blue indicator light.

• Cause 1: If the blue light is off, the scanner is currently in 2.4G transmission mode.

  • Solution: Scan the "Bluetooth Mode" barcode (see image below).

Bluetooth Transport

• Cause 2: If the blue light is solid, the scanner is already paired with a Bluetooth device.

  • Solution: If the scanner is paired with a different device, you can scan the "Unpair" barcode (see image below) and then search for the Bluetooth scanner again to pair it with your device.

Note:

• When switching to Bluetooth mode, the scanner's blue light will start flashing.
• In Bluetooth mode:
  • Flashing blue light: Indicates the scanner is not paired.
  • Solid blue light: Indicates the scanner is paired.
