Symptom: When I open the NetumScan Pro software, the device list appears normal, but the preview screen is blank.

Q: Why is the preview screen blank in NetumScan Pro, even though the device list looks normal?

A:

  1. Unplug and reconnect the USB cable for the camera, preferably to a USB port on the back of the computer.

  2. If you have 360 or other antivirus software installed, ensure camera permissions are enabled in the antivirus settings, or temporarily disable the antivirus software.

  3. Use the DirectX Repair Tool to check and repair your computer’s DirectX environment.
